The terms governing your use of the Binary Research Institute and CPAK Online websites, event registrations, memberships, and related services.
Effective Date: June 16, 2026
These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the websites, event registrations, memberships, communications, and related services (collectively, the "Services") offered by Binary Research Institute ("we," "us," or "our"), including CPAK Online. By accessing or using the Services, registering for an event, or making a purchase, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Binary Research Institute is located at 1600 Dove St. Suite 480, Newport Beach, California 92660-1801. CPAK Online and the Conference on Precession and Ancient Knowledge ("CPAK") are operated by Binary Research Institute.
You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, to register for events, purchase tickets, or create a membership. By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
When you register for an event, become a member, or otherwise provide information, you are responsible for the accuracy of that information and for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials. You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized use of your information.
Event registrations and tickets are subject to availability and to any additional terms presented at the time of purchase. Registration grants the named attendee a limited, non-transferable right to attend the applicable event unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to refuse admission, or to modify event dates, locations, speakers, schedules, or programming, where reasonably necessary.
Payments are processed through third-party providers, including SquareUp. By submitting payment, you authorize the applicable charge and represent that you are permitted to use the payment method provided. Prices are stated in U.S. dollars unless otherwise noted, and you are responsible for any applicable taxes or fees. We generally do not store complete payment card information on our servers.
Refund, cancellation, and transfer terms for registrations, tickets, and memberships are those stated at the time of purchase or otherwise communicated to you. If an event is cancelled by us, we will make reasonable efforts to provide a refund or alternative as described in the applicable purchase terms. Please contact us with questions regarding a specific purchase.
Membership benefits, terms, and any associated fees are described at the time of enrollment. Memberships are personal to the member and non-transferable unless otherwise stated. We may modify membership benefits or terms on a prospective basis.
Participation in volunteer programs is subject to any additional requirements, guidelines, or agreements we provide. Volunteer roles are offered at our discretion and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
We are committed to providing a respectful environment at our events. Attendees, speakers, volunteers, and guests are expected to behave professionally and courteously. We reserve the right to remove, without refund, any person whose conduct is disruptive, unlawful, or harmful to others.
The Services and their contents — including text, graphics, logos, images, video, audio, presentations, and the CPAK and Binary Research Institute names and marks — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content without our prior written permission, except as expressly permitted by these Terms or applicable law. Materials presented by speakers may be owned by the respective speakers.
If you submit content to us — including survey responses, poster submissions, applications, or communications — you represent that you have the rights to do so, and you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use that content in connection with operating and promoting the Services, subject to our Privacy Policy. You are responsible for the content you submit.
By attending our events, you acknowledge that photography, audio, and video recording may occur, and you grant us the right to use your likeness in such recordings for documentary, educational, and promotional purposes, except where prohibited by applicable law.
The Services may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party websites and services, including payment processors, email and analytics providers, and embedded YouTube and social media content. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third parties, and your use of those services is governed by their own terms.
By providing your contact information, you may receive communications from us as described in our Privacy Policy. You may unsubscribe from email at any time using the link provided in our messages, and you may opt out of SMS messages at any time. Message and data rates may apply to SMS communications.
The Services and all content are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any information provided is complete or accurate. Views expressed by speakers and contributors are their own and do not necessarily reflect our views.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Binary Research Institute and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Services or attendance at any event. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or related to the Services will not exceed the amount you paid to us, if any, for the applicable Service.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Binary Research Institute and its officers, directors, employees, volunteers, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising out of your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
Your use of the Services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect personal information.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Orange County, California, except where prohibited by applicable law.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any additional terms presented at the point of purchase or registration, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is otherwise harmful to us, other users, or third parties.
