He has founded companies in medical devices, aesthetics, and cryptography, including Strathspey Crown and Crown Sterling, and holds a broad set of patents and publications. His research runs through number theory, geometry, music, and the mathematics of ancient monuments.
Grant’s books Polymath and Philomath look at the geometric relationships that connect mathematics, art, and physics. His third book, Neuromined, written with Michael Ashley, takes on technology and data privacy.
His work on ancient architecture centers on the Great Pyramid of Giza, where he has documented mathematical constants and geometric relationships expressed in the monument’s proportions. He has presented at CPAK before and returns for the Sunday morning session in the Ballroom.
