HUGH NEWMAN

Megalithomaniac, Explorer, and Author.

TOPIC: Göbekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe – The World’s First Megaliths

Hugh Newman reveals the stunning discoveries being made in Southeast Turkey and what this really means.

Hugh shares new research from southeast Anatolia, looking at Göbekli Tepe, Karahan Tepe, Sayburç, Sefer Tepe and other sites in the Taş Tepeler region, exploring how they came into being and how geometric and astronomical principles found in British stone circles are also found at these sites, but nearly 7000 years before Stonehenge.

Advanced metrology (ancient measure) prove they measured the earth in deep antiquity There is evidence that the understanding of magnetism may have initiated agriculture, and possibly the earliest attempt at written language has revealed this was the world’s first ’Supercivilization’ long before Sumer or Egypt. Hugh will also discuss his and JJ Ainsworth’s discovery of a Winter Solstice alignment at Karahan Tepe as well as cutting-edge data suggesting they were tracking Venus, the Moon and astrological cycles at this newly excavated site.

There are even statues depicting 8-fingered beings, but it’s the megalithic technology and the sophisticated relief carvings that has got people talking, as it was way ahead of its time. Were the builders the Sumerian Anunnaki, or the Watchers from The Book of Enoch, and how did they create these remarkable megalithic temples nearly 12,000 years ago?

Hugh will be launching his new book Göbekli Tepe and Karahan Tepe – The World’s First Megaliths (Wooden Books) at CPAK 2023.
