CPAK 2024

CONFERENCE ON PRECESSION AND ANCIENT KNOWLEDGE
• OCTOBER 18-19 2024 • NEVADA CITY, CA

Most history books still teach that about 5000 years ago, mankind was a primitive hunter-gatherer incapable of complex thought.

Under this paradigm, megalithic structures were built for sacrificial purposes, to deify a ruler, or to help a society ignorant of the seasons know when to plant its crops.

Mankind was thought to be a brutish sort stuck in survival mode, capable of little more than primitive speech, certainly incapable of writing, which was deemed to be a requirement for building large structures and cities.

But in the last few decades, and with new technology, explorers, and archaeologists began to find megalithic sites on a global scale and signs of large civilizations under the jungles, things that required math and engineering to build. Many date to a time long before any writing was invented. Our Darwinian minds always thought that whatever came before us must be more primitive but maybe we were wrong.

The myth and folklore of ancestral people from ancient Greece, Persia, India and elsewhere give us a far different story. They spoke of a time when mankind walked with the gods and lived in harmony with nature on a pristine Earth.

Their stories repeatedly whisper of a long-lost Golden Age and a celestial-driven cycle where the rise and fall of the ages flowed like seasons. Most of all, they speak with reverence about the stars and our connection with the heavens.

It has recently been discovered that most megalithic structures (cairns, tombs, henges, etc. around the globe) are astronomically aligned, or positioned to mark the solstices and cardinal points.

Huge stones are one of the few things that still stand after several thousand years, and these structures suggest a worldwide civilization attuned to the heavens – one that might point the way to a better civilization today.

CPAK 2024

SPEAKERS

Dr. Robert Schoch

Boston University Professor, College of General Studies; Author, Geologist, and Researcher

Dr. Robert Schoch is a distinguished geologist, known for his groundbreaking work in re-dating the Great Sphinx of Giza, Egypt, to a much earlier period than previously believed. Schoch earned his Ph.D. in Geology and Geophysics from Yale University, specializing in the study of earthquakes and ancient civilizations.

His research challenges conventional chronologies and interpretations of ancient history, particularly regarding the age of the Sphinx and the implications it holds for understanding the development of civilization. Schoch’s hypothesis suggests that the Sphinx may have been carved during a time of more abundant rainfall, pushing its origins back to around 10,000 BCE, far earlier than the commonly accepted date of around 2500 BCE.

He is the author of several books, including “Voices of the Rocks: A Scientist Looks at Catastrophes and Ancient Civilizations,” “Pyramid Quest: Secrets of the Great Pyramid and the Dawn of Civilization,” and “Forgotten Civilization: The Role of Solar Outbursts in Our Past and Future.” Schoch continues to explore the intersections of geology, archaeology, and ancient history, pushing the boundaries of our understanding of the human past.

Joseph Selbie

Author, Speaker, Researcher

Joseph Selbie is one of the foremost exponents of the yugas, India’s tradition of cyclical history. The yugas provide context for ancient anomalies, such as Gobekli Tepe, Sanskrit, and the Great Pyramid, as well as for emerging trends, such as the current explosion of interest in experiential spirituality. His book, The Yugas, has sold worldwide and in numerous translations. Joseph’s studies span East and West; Greek history and archeology at U.C. Boulder and Indian history and philosophy at U.C. Berkeley. He has presented frequently at CPAK.

A polymath, Joseph is also known for creating bridges of understanding between the modern evidenced-based discoveries of science and the timeless experience-based discoveries of the mystics. He is the author of Break Through the Limits of the Brain, how neuroscience supports spiritual experience, The Physics of God, a unification of science and religion, and, coming out in the fall of 2024, The Physics of Miraculous Healing, an explanation for extraordinarily rapid physical healing.

Joseph has taught yoga, meditation, and universal experiential spirituality throughout the US and Europe. He has presented at numerous conferences and has appeared on many programs including: The Chopra Well with Deepak Chopra, Coast to Coast with George Noory, Gaia’s Open Minds with Regina Meredith, and Buddha at the Gas Pump with Rick Archer. Joseph appears with Elizabeth Rohm in the 2014 docudrama, Finding Happiness, which showcases Ananda Village, one of the most successful spiritual communities in the world. In 1975 Joseph became a founding member of Ananda, a worldwide spiritual movement inspired by the teachings of Paramhansa Yogananda, author of Autobiography of a Yogi.

Freddy Silva

Best Selling Author and Leading Researcher

Freddy Silva is a bestselling author, with eight books in six languages, and fourteen documentaries. His research focuses on ancient civilizations, sacred sites and their interaction with consciousness.

“For decades I’ve researched countless temples and megalithic sites, and discovered how they act as intermediaries between the material and the spiritual. Essentially, they are portals, the ultimate self-help centers. Engage with ancient places and the fringe benefits are beyond imagination”.

Described by one CEO as “perhaps the best metaphysical speaker in the world right now,” for two decades he has been an international keynote speaker, with notable appearances at the International Science and Consciousness Conference, the International Society For The Study Of Subtle Energies & Energy Medicine, and the Association for Research and Enlightenment, in addition to appearances on Gaia TV, History Channel, BBC, and radio shows such as Earth Ancients, Fade To Black and Coast To Coast.

Walter Cruttenden

Author, Director of the Binary Research Institute

Walter Cruttenden is an author and researcher working at the intersection of ancient wisdom, modern science, and human consciousness. His Binary Research Institute, based on the work of Sri Yukteswar, challenges the conventional paradigm of what caused the fall of many ancient civilizations, and why we have seen a rise in consciousness since the renaissance.

Cruttenden is the author of the book “Lost Star of Myth and Time,” and documentary, “The Great Year”, narrated by James Earl Jones, which looks at the evidence for a stellar companion and its likely influence on Earth’s ancient past and possible future.

Cruttenden shares his research and insights with audiences worldwide, inspiring others to question the prevailing narratives of history and to explore the deeper mysteries of the universe. His talks blend scientific inquiry with spiritual wisdom, offering a holistic perspective on the nature of reality and our interconnectedness with the cosmos.

In addition to his writing, Cruttenden the Binary Research Institute, dedicated to exploring the implications of the binary star hypothesis and its relevance to our understanding of human history and evolution. He also hosts the popular podcast “The Cosmic Influence,” where he interviews leading experts in the fields of astronomy, mythology, and consciousness. Through his work, Walter Cruttenden invites us to reconsider our place in the cosmos and to embrace a broader understanding of reality.

CPAK 2024 LOCATION

CPAK 2024 is located at the Expanding Light Retreat, within the spiritual yoga community of Ananda Village in the scenic Sierra Nevada foothills of Northern California, 90 minutes northeast of Sacramento, California.

Ananda Village includes several sacred temples, including its largest, the Temple of Light, a three-minute walk from where CPAK 2024 is held. The Temple of Light, with its dome-shaped sanctuary, was designed and built as a Dwapara Yuga temple, encouraging meditation and sending light out to our galaxy.

To stimulate higher consciousness, the Temple of Light includes a unique copper Yantra under the main altar, touching the earth. This Yantra includes sacred Sanskrit mantras and symbols, gifted to Ananda by a holy swami from India who many years ago intuitively foresaw the creation of this temple.

The Yantra, when combined with the meditation that occurs in this temple, acts as an ‘energy conductor”, sending out magnetic rays that radiate in concentric circles outward through the earth filling the planet with light and peace. Guests to CPAK 2024 will have the opportunity to attend a special musical kirtan inside this temple on Friday evening, October 18th.
